Where to go

Where to go and what to do!

You are in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Rafting, fishing, camping, gold panning, or just exploring old mining camps or ghost towns, it's all here for you to discover. Many of these activities are not accessible to cars designed for paved roads. That's where we come in. Colorado Jeep rental at BV Jeeps is the way to go. Along with a quality rental 4x4 Jeep®, we will provide you with a turn by turn map of local attractions catering to your interests and experience level or ... just loan you a Colorado Topographical Atlas and point you in the right direction.

Cottonwood Pass, Tincup Pass, Aspen Ridge Trail, Taylor Lake Reservoir, Cumberland Pass, The Mary Murphy Mine or The Ghost Town of St. Elmo. What ever you want to experience is here, accessible by a Jeep rented by you!

A great majority of the time you will be at altitudes above 9000 feet above sea level. You will want to carry some items you might not ordinarily consider. Some of these items include:

  • Extra Water
  • Sun Block
  • Rain gear
  • Hat
  • Lip Balm
  • Jacket
  • Power bar
  • Walking Staff
  • Cell phone (service in the mountains is spotty at best.)

Approximately 30% of the visitors to Colorado will experience some symptom of Altitude Sickness. Be sure to drink plenty of water to help reduce symptoms and sickness.
